Choose Watch Screwdriver Profiles, Handles and Spares
Compare complete drivers, the actual blade profile, replaceable parts and storage without confusing a size label with guaranteed screw fit.
| Format or example | When to compare it | Keep this distinction with the choice |
|---|---|---|
| Singcci ten-driver set | Slotted and Phillips-labeled options | Eight slotted sizes 0.6–2.0 mm; Phillips 1.4/1.6 mm labels have no PH-number mapping. |
| Bergeon 7778 | Six slotted drivers with bench stand | 0.80,1.00,1.20,1.40,1.60,2.00 mm; spare-blade count unspecified. |
| Timelab cut-out-tip set | Different slotted contact geometry | Six drivers and twelve spares; size figures are seller-labeled thicknesses, not verified widths. |
| HURRISE guide and stone | Separate screwdriver-edge maintenance equipment | One rolling guide plus a 3000-grit-labeled stone; no universal angle or driver fit established. |
Choose the working profile before the count
Singcci lists eight slotted drivers from 0.6 to 2.0 mm and two Phillips-labeled sizes, 1.4 and 1.6 mm. Those Phillips dimensions are not supplied as PH-number equivalents. Bergeon 7778 instead provides six slotted drivers. Start with the screw’s actual profile and contact dimensions, rather than choosing a ten-piece kit only because it contains more handles.
Timelab’s T-blade/cut-out tip is another contact shape, not simply another color-coded slotted set. Its 0.8–2.0 mm figures are described by the seller as blade thicknesses. They should not be converted into verified widths or assumed to match every screw from watch brands mentioned in the listing.
Compare what is ready to use and what is spare
Singcci itemizes ten complete drivers and twenty spare blades, two for each model. Timelab itemizes six drivers, twelve spare blades and a plastic box. Bergeon 7778 itemizes six drivers, a stand and spare blades, but not an exact spare count. A spare blade is a replacement component, not another complete screwdriver.
A matching width alone does not establish replacement fit. Check the blade’s receiving dimensions and attachment for the particular handle. Neither a color code nor a common nominal size proves that a Singcci, Timelab or 30081-series blade fits another handle system.
Separate handle feel and storage from blade fit
Bergeon 7778 lists stainless-steel drivers with elastomer coating and a POM-C stand measuring 98 × 33 × 30 mm. Singcci shows a rotating round stand; Timelab lists a 5.5 × 5.5 in storage box. Those are useful choices for storage and handling, but they do not define screw-slot fit, allowable torque or the dimensions of a replacement blade.
Buy maintenance equipment as its own interface
The HURRISE package combines a rolling screwdriver guide with a stone labeled 3000 grit. Compare it when guide-and-abrasive equipment is the missing purchase, not as another complete driver set. Confirm the driver’s receiving fit; the abrasive label and generic outside dimensions do not establish a universal sharpening angle or a model-specific maintenance procedure.
Questions before you choose
Does 1.4 mm Phillips mean a particular PH size?
Not in the Singcci listing. It gives 1.4 and 1.6 mm labels without PH-number equivalents. Obtain the actual profile and dimensions required for the screw before choosing.
Which set has a known spare-blade count?
Singcci lists twenty spares for ten driver models; Timelab lists twelve spares with six drivers. Bergeon 7778 includes spares but does not state their number. Each still needs its own handle-to-blade fit check.
Is the honing guide an alternative to a set of drivers?
No. It is a separate guide-and-stone package for screwdriver-edge maintenance. It does not supply the complete driver assortment or establish a sharpening method for every blade.
