Match Tools to Spring Bars, Bracelet Pins and Screws
Choose access, support and the correct retention system instead of treating every bracelet-adjustment kit as the same tool.
| Format or example | When to compare it | Keep this distinction with the choice |
|---|---|---|
| Bergeon 6767-F | Straight spring-bar tool | Working fork width and pin diameter are not specified. |
| Bergeon 7825 | Opposed fork tweezers for recessed spring-bar access | Forks are exchangeable; replacement forks are separate. |
| BuleVina 6825 kit | Plier with several tip profiles | Ten tips form five pairs; 9.5 cm tool length is not fork width. |
| strapmonster 2.0 | Knob-adjusted H-frame spring-bar compression | 15–26 mm lug-spacing label, not universal end-link access. |
| JOREST separate-block kit | Bracelet-pin tools plus strap-tool supplies | Thirteen spare needles and twenty spring bars have different roles. |
| JOREST integrated remover | Pin pusher with lift-adjustable support | Nine spare needles in two lengths; screwed fasteners excluded. |
Identify the fastener first
A spring-bar tool addresses the attachment between strap/bracelet and watch; a bracelet-pin pusher addresses link pins. The seller of JOREST’s integrated remover expressly excludes screwed fasteners. Establish the bracelet’s own retention system before choosing between a fork, a pushing needle and a screwdriver blade.
Choose access around the end link
Bergeon 6767-F is the straight handheld format to compare with opposed forks. Bergeon 7825 specifically describes difficult-to-access end links and short inner-link spring bars, with removable forks. Its overall dimensions are not a substitute for the working fork width, which is not provided.
BuleVina 6825 adds a plier and five paired tip sets, labeled U1.6, U1.4, U1.2, V1.2 and U1.0 mm/Pin. These are contact options, not a list of verified watch models. The 6825 designation does not establish a Bergeon maker relationship or spare-tip interchangeability.
Compare the handling format
strapmonster 2.0 uses an H-pattern frame, adjustment knob and steel tips secured with a screw and locknut. Its 15–26 mm lug-spacing label is useful alongside the frame arrangement, but the tips must still reach the actual spring-bar shoulders. Choose that handling format versus squeezing tweezer arms, rather than assuming the spacing label guarantees access or finish protection.
Separate the support and spare inventories
The first JOREST kit combines a screw-driven link pusher with a separate block, punch and hammer. The integrated JOREST places the pin remover and bracelet holder together on a lift-adjustable platform. The useful difference is how the bracelet is supported and aligned, not simply which kit has more pieces.
The separate-block kit lists thirteen replacement needles and twenty 1.5 mm-diameter spring bars: four each at 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 mm. Needles are tool spares; spring bars are fastening parts. The integrated remover lists nine needles in two lengths and three punches without exact diameters. Check the needed interface instead of transferring spare needles from a similar-looking kit.
Questions before you choose
Which JOREST set should I compare for pin-hole alignment?
The integrated model has lift adjustment under the bracelet; the other kit supplies a separate support block. Compare the physical support arrangement and the actual pin interface, not just the spare count.
Are replacement tips included with the 7825?
One tweezer is supplied, with removable/exchangeable forks. Additional replacement forks are offered separately; their exact attachment and working width need confirmation.
Can I use the integrated pin pusher on a screw-fastened bracelet?
The seller excludes screwed fasteners. Choose a tool matching the actual screw profile and the bracelet maker’s requirements instead of treating a pushing needle as a screwdriver.
