Equip the work surface, parts organization and contact tool separately; a mat, cover, mesh, brush and abrasive each solve a different bench need.

Build the work surface around the support you need
The green Bergeon 7808-V supplies a soft, flexible 320 × 240 × 2 mm continuous mat. Bergeon presents it as a contrasting surface for assembly, casing and control work and describes it as anti-skid. Choose it to equip the bench area, not as a promise that every part will remain stationary or as an adjustable holder.
The EUROTOOL cushion adds localized padding for case opening/closing, pin and battery work. Its nominal size is 3 in, with 3 × 0.7 × 3 in also listed as overall dimensions. The seller describes a tacky back intended to prevent sliding on the workbench. The mat covers a working area, while the cushion supplies localized padding. Choose the support contact required under the actual watch.
Separate covered organization from a cover alone
EXCBIOZ provides six areas under one cover: three small, two large and one central round compartment. Its approximately 10.5 × 7 cm assembly is the option to compare when separating groups of parts matters. Individual compartment size and usable covered height still need checking for a particular movement.
OTOOLWORLD is explicitly one acrylic cover without a base. Its outside 20 × 10 × 5.5 cm dimensions help compare footprint, not internal clearance or a fit on the EXCBIOZ tray. Choose it only when the receiving surface is already suitable. Neither covered format is specified as a sealed or dust-tight enclosure.
Keep containment and drainage as different choices
The KH866 pairs a transparent glass jar with a removable stainless-steel mesh insert and lid. Its diagram marks 70 mm across the body and 35 mm vertically with the lid raised; those are not liquid capacity, inside clearance or a closed-lid height. Choose the container-and-basket arrangement only after checking the parts it must receive.
The Anu Limen plate is an open 8 × 5 cm approximate support with an aluminum frame, steel mesh and shallow groove. The advertised purpose is drainage, air drying and temporary parts placement. Check the mesh opening against the smallest component: no aperture is stated. Neither this plate nor the jar establishes permitted solvents, heating limits or a validated cleaning process.
Choose the cleaning contact rather than a large assortment
Waymil’s hand-squeezed rubber bulb directs air through a brass nozzle, with a seller-described one-way intake. It is the non-bristle option for compatible loose, dry dust. Its instructions say to keep the nozzle from contacting sensitive surfaces. JuxLux JL-029 instead supplies two wood-handled soft brushes; confirm their exact head assortment because the gallery does not show a consistent flat/rounded pair.
TAURISH pegwood supplies twenty-four natural-wood sticks, 3 mm in diameter and 150 mm long. The seller describes forming a point for contact with oil or dirt on small parts. That solid contact is different from airflow or bristles. Mtucegi supplies a shaping block, not sticks; confirm its receiving capacity for the 3 mm stock before treating the two products as a matched combination.
Reserve abrasive tools for the actual maintenance target
The complete Bergeon 2834-L pencil has a Bakelite handle and replaceable 4 mm brass brush, with an approximately 120 mm overall length. Its scratch-brush contact is offered for fine cleaning of watch cases and listed parts. It is not a soft dial-dusting brush; choose the surface and tool requirements before selecting that abrasive contact.
Boley M40 is a flat fine-abrasive plate for tweezer-tip maintenance, with diamond abrasive, metal base and steel in its material list. The 3.94 × 1 × 0.25 in outside size does not define grit or removal rate. Keep it separate from case scratch-brushing and from a screwdriver honing guide, and match the tweezer maker’s maintenance requirements rather than expecting a guaranteed restoration result.
Keep application hardware separate from storage
Bergeon 30180-A provides four rock-agate containers in a die-cast stand, covers, replaceable central felt and an underside rubber pad. At 87 × 50 × 16 mm overall, it is a compact station to compare when arranging a dip-oiler setup. Compare the well layout and overall footprint with the space available at your bench.
The 30102-P04 is the complementary four-oiler assortment. Its AR, BB, CV and DJ labels identify profiles without supplying metric tip sizes or lubricant assignments. Choose the applicators and movement-specified materials separately; a covered station is not an applicator, and neither package itemizes a named fluid.
Questions before you choose
What should I buy if I only need to keep parts covered?
Compare cover-only OTOOLWORLD with the EXCBIOZ covered tray. OTOOLWORLD assumes a separately suitable surface; EXCBIOZ adds six compartments. Check the usable clearance, not merely the outside dimensions.
How should I choose between air, bristles and pegwood?
Start with the actual task and permitted component contact. Waymil is offered for directed loose-dust airflow, JuxLux for soft brushing, and TAURISH for a shapeable solid contact. None establishes universal suitability for every dial, finish or movement part.
What should I confirm before using the basket or mesh plate?
The usable receiving space, mesh aperture and compatibility with the intended process. The jar’s outside diagram and plate’s overall size do not supply those specifications, and neither gives a permitted chemical formulation or heating temperature.
